Situational Awareness in the Real World

Situational Awareness can not only help you survive a threat, it can help you avoid the threat before it strikes.

One of the most overlooked components of self-reliance is situational awareness. Now this gets talked about a lot, but it is often reduced to a few catch phrases while missing the true power it can hold. While situational awareness does include keeping your head up and paying attention, the real key is knowing what to look for. Recognizing danger BEFORE it strikes. The Cooper Color Code of Awareness is a great place to start and is a foundation for Module 1 in Program 62

But this is only the foundation. Situational Awareness truly plays a key role in your preparedness when you understand how to establish baselines and recognize deviations from those baselines.
